Christmas is here again!! the year seems to have flown so fast. It has been another good year for Greenfields. We have had three Ofsted inspections in one year across the organisation which all went really well and we retained our ‘Good’ rating in each case. We successfully implemented the 30 hours initiative across our settings and now more of our families are able to access free childcare for longer and are therefore able to return to work or increase working hours. We offered respite care to an increased number of children and we continued to develop our strong partnerships with Children’s Services, Nottingham College, Nottingham Law Centre and several local schools.
The Children at Forest Fields celebrated with a ‘Big Christmas Bounce’ which we held at Forest Fields Community Centre. Santa Claus made an appearance and our families took part in lots of Christmas crafts. The children had loads of fun and went home exhausted (as did the staff!). The Children at Meadows and Bilborough put on excellent concerts for families to enjoy and had fun and games at their Christmas parties. The staff, children and parents at Clifton held a Christmas family fun session which was very well attended.
Thanks to all our families at all our settings for choosing Greenfields and for your support throughout the year. We love working with you all.
